Starting this week , Safari on Yosemite is erasing my history after every session. Even when entering websites in the address bar , Safari used to remember the websites after the first two letters but now there's no suggestion .. All of my previous history from before is also gone ..
Is this a settings issue ? what should I change ?

Safari -- Preferences -- General. That is where you can set the number of days for Safari to keep history. If that doesn't work then the problem is deeper than setting the proper settings.

My problem with History is that Safari is sometimes keeping history of sites visited on Private Browsing.
