I am having an odd problem. I have safari extension enabled, and I even have a few installed. Today though, when I went to double click on and install a new extension, instead of installing it re-downloads the extension. Am I doing something wrong? The extension is definitely .safariextz. Have I just missed some obvious problem?

From the Downloads window you can right-click on the item and choose open. This should cause Safari to prompt you to install it.

I was having the same problem. I had to close safari and then install the extensions from there. Then Safari started crashing, so I had to start uninstalling extensions...

Using FGPermission to change Extensions folder's permissions from 755 to 775 worked for me. YMMV :D
