safari/ facebook problems

"Your access to Facebook was redirected or blocked by a third party at this time, please contact your ISP or reload." repeatedly appears when using facebook--ISP Road Runner could find nothing wrong, reset safari, reinstalled latest version safari, all to no avail. Have no problems with facebook on firefox. Also still got this message with firewalls off. ??:(

I also have this problem. I've just installed tweetdeck and allowed it to update my facebook profile. I now get logged out of facebook every minute or so while using safari (very annoying). I think tweetdeck is logging me out periodically. It's not just the facebook chat mentioned above but possibly any kind of app like this.

Safari issue / Facebook & Hotmail

A friend of me had the same problem untill I made a fresh "Tiger" install from Mac Os Install DVD + complete immediately Software Update to 10.4.11 and guess what - no problems anymore with FB or Hotmail.

Hope this is helpfull :apple: )

2010 Facebook problem

I have a 2007 black macbook with the latest Safari and Snow Leopard updates. I recently got back into Facebook. But I have all kinds of display problems. Pictures seem out of order, disorganized, icons and buttons are missing. Other problems include people's profile picture and other pictures will show up with ? and a blue squared box.
I tried the cookies and it didnt solve anything. Any help please.

OMG it's easy!

I had the exact same problem with FB on safari and firefox.

Check the date AND time on your computer. mine was off, as soon as i fixed the time the problem solved!!

One of our Users had the same issue in which his Profile was shifting to the left and not displaying java. After I deleted his Cookie from user>Library>Cookies
I restarted his Safari and on his Facebook Account settings I Enable the Safe Browsing option. That seem to work for him. :apple:

Try this guys

Try this: Right Click on your computer clock > Adjust date/time > Click 'Internet Time' tab > Change Settings > Uncheck 'Synchronize with an internet time server'. Refresh your Facebook

If you don't have this, click on the "time zone" and make sure that you have the correct location there. you can check the update automatically and refresh FB and vice versa.

New Problem

Just happened to me:

Go to facebook. Safari knows the password, so I'm already logged in. Immediately, I get a slide-sown window that says something to the effect of "Your Flash Player Is out Of Date". The options to click are "Install Flash Player" or "OK".

Well I didn't want to click either of those, so I cmd (how do you find that symbol?!?!) ––>"W"'d, but the tab didn't close. "Boo!" sad the OS softly. So I tried to click the little tab "x". Again "Boo!". Click again just to make sure I'm not nuts, "Boo!". OK. Opt. –>Ctrl. –> esc. Force quit. Click the Safari icon on the dock. Oh ****! the tabs are opening back up! Quickly I clicked the facebook tab and cmd–>"W"'d before it loaded. Problem solved...

Until I try to go to facebook again.

Just thought I'd report.

Safari/Facebook whitescreen!

Hi. After deleting an unwanted app from FB my screen now goes white when I try to access FB through Safari. I can access FB using Firefox, but it's not as good. Does anyone know how I can fix this. I have tried rebooting, clearing the cache in Safari, resetting Safari all to no avail. Help!!
