Safari favorites or bookmarks bar?

Is anyone else seeing their favorites under or near the search bar in safari? For me to see my favorites I have to open the bookmarks icon on top left then tap on favorites. Any ideas?

That's where they are supposed to be if you have the favorites bar displayed. View > Show Favorites Bar.
