Safari Font Issues?

Not sure what forum to post this in specifically so my apologizies...

This only happens on my MBP 2.2 using Safari 2.0.4 (419.3)
MBP 2.2 15" tiger 10.4.10

I recently did a Java update and ProKit update.

here is what the font corruption look slike:

this is the profile i was browsing and noticed it on all sites like that and various sites, notjust this one, but this is the most apparent:

I have no installed fonts other than the ones with Office 2004, Adobe CS2.
Dont have ONYX/FontFInangler or anything else because i dont install or modify any default settings .

I ran verify disk and repaired permissions and thats about it.

anyone else replicate this issue?

any advice?

Actually, for corrupt fonts, you won't see $#... etc. The server actually misinterpreted what was to be presented. Then again, I could be wrong.

The reason I say that is because only on MySpace does the font ever really work for me.

I recommend cleaning your Safari cache, and trying again.

oh okay! sorry im new to macs, iuse that site as an example because i was randomly browsing various sites, MySpace, OCforums and alot of the text was like that


So i wasnt familiar with that font situation.


aare you saying you can replicate the issue/situation on your browser aswell?
