Lately Safari has been freezing on me where I can't scroll within the webpage, highlight, click links. There isn't a Spinning Wheel of Death.

Mac Mini 2012 2.5GHz 16GB Ram 256GB SSD with 180GB free 10.15.4

I can scroll down with no response and then suddenly I am the bottom of the page.

I DO have 1Blocker. I DON'T have any other applications running.

I wash my hands twice an hour.

Anyone else experiencing this behaviour?

I figured it out.

I installed Folding@home and it was using 235% of my processor according to Activity Monitor.

Uninstalled and the problem is gone.

My 2018 15inch macbook pro with catalina is freezing in safari and has been for a good few months. i believe it was freezing with mojave also.
i have a lot of tabs open, but i believe my processor and memory are fine
