Safari Freezes with Many Tab Groups

Am I the only one with more than 20 tab groups, whose Safari freezes for MULTIPLE seconds ALL the time when switching tab groups or tabs? Ever since Tab Groups came out, and never gotten fixed! iPhone 11 Pro Max. Also happens on iPad Pro pre-M1 and iPad Pro M1! Safari on macOS has CHOPPY animations but is bearable. iPadOS actually freezes MUCH WORSE for MUCH LONGER than iPhone EVEN on M1 iPad Pro!

Why has this NEVER come to the forefront attention on macrumors or even in general in the Apple community???

When I checked with 2 iPhone using friends in person about this and showed it to them....

One did not even know what Tab Groups were and his Safari on iOS 16 was running JUST FINE on an iPhone X! Tab Groups were turned off on his phone in Safari Settings and he had the classic Safari UI.

The other DID NOT EVEN USE SAFARI on her phone! She used Chrome! Well that explains it maybe?

SAFARI IS DEAD! Or... Safari TAB GROUPS are dead on arrival?

And I am like the only person in the world using that feature and suffering the miserable consequences!

The only thing that came up here in this forum when I typed in the title of this post was stuff about disappearing tabs! YES I get those too! I know about disappearing tabs very well thank you! I am a software engineer, I know this when I see it, tabs in tab groups disappear because Sync is not implemented correctly - there is a sync race condition - if your current sync gets beaten by another device's background sync, you will lose your new tab.... sometimes tabs you close re-appear... just a house of horrors experience overall!

Just to make sure I express the whole thing - I mean, in my eyes this is such a disgraceful move on Apple's side! Their leadership smiles and laughs at interviews and has happy chats about this or that and the other and they collect their bonuses year after year, while meanwhile their teams are churning out software of worse and worse quality!

[I mean I cannot express this strongly enough - as a Software Engineer, AND a user, the quality of the Tab Groups feature experience is ABYSMAL! And not just by Apple standards - it is abysmal by even Microsoft! or Android! standards! Or Blackberry! This is not just a, oh, worse quality complaint by spoiled user - this is a - WTF this phone is a super computer and FREEZES ... let me say that again! ... the phone FREEZES for MANY seconds EVERY time you launch Safari on it]

There must be five good engineers left at that company and they put out one good feature a year that is some highlight reel thing like the whatever island pill shape that has animations that actually work right, so you can have the iPhone clearly identifiable in close-up shots of actors texting [or receiving phone calls] in movies for a subtlest of all product placement ala Apple style.

And NO, this is NOT some phone or device issue..... I have THREE DIFFERENT i-Devices ALL exhibiting the EXACT same issue!
