Safari getting stuck easily since yesterday

I've noticed since yesterday that on several pages it gets stuck and I have to close it. After the linksgate I was wondering if anyone else is affected as it just started happening yesterday - just like the linksgate issues - If not I was thinking in cleaning cache and if stays the same then restoring iOS. I'm running 9.3.1 on a 12.9 iPP.

I noticed just today that opening any link in background freezes Safari on my iPhone (9.3.1). When that happens I need to restart Safari, after which I will find the page I previously opened in the background among other open pages.

Mine just fixed by itself after a few hours :-? A bit awkward....

Maybe it was a website-related issue? Or was it with different websites?
