I have a gmail account through my work that's actually me@xyz.edu. Is there a way to make an icon that I can just click that will then enter my name and password and press enter for me? I'd like the end result be that I could just click the icon and a bit later start shuffling through my mail. Thanks.

well you could try clicking remember me? or use mail

Not quite the answer I was looking for

I can't use mail app b/c it's a work account with private information, and they've said that I shouldn't. I could use "remember me", but that wasn't the question I asked, smarty-pants.

Anyone really know the answer to the question?

The only way i can think of is to make a book mark and just close the window when you are done instead of logging out. Then when you click on your book mark, you will be taken automatically to your inbox.

thanks

That's a good idea. I was also wondering if there was a way to do it with automator or scripts? Anyone?

Anyone?

Just curious if someone believes that this type of arrangement could be had through automator or some other means?
