I'm experiencing this strange problem while browsing Safari on my 13.3" MacBook Pro that is running Mac OS X Lion (10.7.1).

Hopefully this is an issue with Safari only and not the graphics card in my MacBook Pro. If so, it's no big deal since my MBP is covered by Applecare. Sometimes the screen (see pic below) stays like that for a few seconds; the most recent time it stayed like that for about 20 seconds. Other times, it's instantly gone.

What can be the issue? Has anyone experienced this before? What can I do to stop this?

Here's what I'm seeing:

yeah i experienced this

I experience this but rarely. When I used firefox 7 beta 1 I get that for like a second and then it goes away. I have a 13 in mbp 320m 2.4 ghz c2d.

it also happened on chrome canary too... i dont think its a safari issue but I rarely use safari.
