I have been using Firefox 95% of the time but want to try out Safari but I have had a few problems I cant figure out.

For example, if I go the following site and try to click on the supersize link to get a closer look but it doesnt open?

Do I have a setting wrong, how do I fix it

It's some kind of script (Java) and it opens the image in a new window / tab for me.

Check Safari Preferences > Security > Enable JavaScript to make sure it's checked. Also, make sure you're not using an ad blocker that could be suppressing it.

I don't know, I have Safari 4.0.5 and Glims and Stand installed, maybe thats why. I'm also on Mac OS X 10.6.3.

Then there must be something on your account that is blocking it. Ad blockers, custom add-ons to Safari, Terminal commands you may have used to tweak Safari, etc. There's something you've done on your end that's blocking it. You might try deleting the .plist file for Safari.

I got the same yesterday. You can view them by opening the Activity window via Window > Activity (CMD+OPTION/ALT+A) as stated by Safari and posted by yourself.
