Does the latest ios support immersive mode on the iphone 12 pro when using Safari? Im referring to when scrolling webpages , the top status bar disappear and contain image of the webpage.

What I mean is that what you are describing seems to happen in landscape mode. In portrait mode the address bar gets small at the top and you see it along with the typical status bar and that's it.

Touch the Aa at the top left, choose “hide toolbar”.

I did , was hoping that it would also remove the status bar indicators when in portrait mode.
