I seldom use Safari on the Mac, so I’m surprised that it doesn’t. My initial testing of Safari with iOS 13.4 seems to be fairly good. I was hopeful that Siri would learn a few new words, but no apparent changes there. *Update: Later tonight, I have noticed Safari running a lot better on my MBP, so perhaps the mass updaters' were affecting the initial performance. Still have to scale it up to see clearly, but the performance is a welcomed improvement.

My credit union uses a 3rd party company to manage online bill payments. It's integrated into my credit union's accounts page. They are so far behind the times with their website that I can no longer use Safari to pay bills from my credit union's site. I have to log in with a different browser in order for the bill pay to work.

Maybe they'll get a clue, someday.

I know everyone here is on Catalina which I'm too nervous to install on my Mac Pro 4,1 so far, but is this the same Safari available on High Sierra, Safari 13.1?

Nevermind, and just like that, my question was answered before I asked it. :D

I just want to be able to shop for something and not have all my relaxing pages filled with that product for the rest of the day.

Feels like stepping in it and tracking it all over the house!

Trivia: I haven't used Safari is months due to how slow it runs compared to Microsoft Edge. So, after updating to 10.15.4, I figured I'd give it another try. It's still slower than Edge, but what the heck. So, I tried to apply an Apple Store order change, but it didn't work. I logged in as usual, with no problem. Then I could see my order just fine. If I want to apply changes, I'm required to sign in again for that specific task, and this is where the blank screen shows up. I ended up using my iPhone (13.4) to solve the issue. Perhaps it's just an Apple Store issue, but it's still slower than Edge.

Enjoy your faster Edge browser, while i'm enjoying my safe and fast Safari browser.
Microsoft Edge an Yandex tested worse than other popular browsers for security, including Google Chrome and Apple's Safari. Although popular browsers like Chrome, Safari and Firefox didn't receive perfect scores, those worried about browser security and privacy might want to stay away from Edge and Yandex.

i would like to see a way for clearing history to remove all cookies except for ones that have been given special protected status - and those cookies are not removed when you clear all history. and, i want to be able to set a timed history clearing that's done automatically like every 30 or 60 minutes.

Checkout the app Cookie. You can set it up to delete all cookies except those you have whitelisted. Works great.

i don't think its appropriate for a Forum Moderator to promote an app that costs over USD 20 (in japan app store) without saying that it is a paid app.
Give me a break... it is very clear right on the home page that it is a paid app. If you don't think it is worth it, don't buy it. I'm not getting any compensation for suggesting the app.

Anybody else notice how much smoother going back and forward is in this version? I thought it was ******** when I read the changelog, but damn it's so much better
