Safari incompatibilities

I am disappointed that Safari is incompatible with two important applications: Stumble Upon and Yahoo Mail (newer version).

What does Safari lack that makes it incompatible with these two applications? Will this be addressed soon?

Its not necessarily what technology safari lacks but the market share that it lacks. Most web apps, Yahoo mail are custom coded, most likely to standards along with the fact that each browser has their own quirks when rendering. Its market share just does not create a reason for services to support it.
