Resolved Safari is still safe for browsing?

Hello,

I am still running macOS Big Sur V. 11.7.10 (20G1427) in an old MBP 2014

Is still safe to browse with Safari v.16.6 (16615.3.12.11.2, 16615)?

I am asking in this forum, because I want to update to macOS Ventura, but in order to do this I have to download the installer from https://mrmacintosh.com/macos-ventura-13-full-installer-database-download-directly-from-apple/

Yes, of course it’s safe, that’s the latest version for Big Sur and Monterey.

I would advise against Ventura, update to Monterey.

you'll be fine, but i must say, ive been using monterey for almost a year and its very smooth and stable. i just installed ventura 13.6 on my other computer and its ok, double click is a bit slow, system preferences panel is a also a touch slow when i click on different parts. and im assuming your using legacy patcher as well
