Safari keeps spinning & web content not responding

Anyone please any help is much much much appreciated. Its getting so bad that I'm considering switching to Firefox or Chrome which are just my backup browsers.

My safari keeps freezing up on some websites. On same pages of Google+, and on another website it does it every time actually.

Circle starts spinning and when I open force quit it say: Safari Web Content (not responding). If I leave it it will just keep spinning, unless I force quit it, it would spin forever.

As a first step, I suggest following the diagnostic steps in Apple's knowledge base:

If that doesn't help, you can enable Developer mode in Safari -> Preferences -> Advanced, then use the tools in the Developer menu. You can also remove website data in Safari -> Preferences -> Privacy.

There are less tidy ways to reset Safari as well, by removing some of the files in ~/Library/Preferences and ~/Library/Safari, but perhaps that won't be necessary.
