This is one of the few instances where I notice a potential bug on iOS.

Safari appears to lag/stutter loading when you first launch it for about 8-10 seconds. It’s only safari because brave browser is rather quick. Once it gets past that initial loading period it works fine and normal but it is something I have noticed the last two weeks or so.

I thought it was mainly an iPhone 11 thing so I didnt really think much about it. But it happens on my 15 Pm and I don’t remember it doing this before thanksgiving/the last three weeks.

Haven't seen this on my 13pro or 14 with 17.2 or 17.2.1

What happens if you clear history and kill the app? Same thing?
Have you installed any extensions, using VPN, ad-blockers or similar?

Yeah anytime I kill the app and reopen it lags a bit. I notice this mainly as well using spotlight to search for something.

No extensions and I don’t use vpn.

Strange, same on Wi-Fi and cellular? Try airplane so that it isn't our startscreen that messes things up. (Shouldn't really affect but still)
Have you tried restarting and also kill off all apps?
When it comes to settings i have "Search engine suggestions, safari suggestions quck website search and preload top hit" turned off.

I’ve also had random slow downs in safari. I haven’t found a clear reason for it or pattern of when it occurs, just starts to randomly lag on my iPhone 14 pro
