I was wondering on Safari, is there a way to set when you click on a link it will just open another tab instead of a new window? Thanks!

You can get SafariStand, and set it as a preference, so you don't have to press the apple key :)

Or even more simply if you have a scroll-wheel mouse, middle-click (click the scroll wheel).

If you enable tabbed browing, then pressing the link with middle mouse button (scroll wheel or scroll ball if you have a MightyMouse) opens it in a new tab.
