I know this is going to sound odd but here it goes. A couple weeks ago Safari crashed on my G5 and when I reopened it it lost the tabs feature. I checked the version number and it is still 2.0.4. I then replaced the program file with the version on my MacBook (same version number) and it obviously didnt fix the problem.

I lost the New Tab from the file menu and Ctrl+T does not do anything. Any ideas?

oops. I feel stupid. Thanks for the help, I probably should have checked that.
