Safari/Mail/Chrome not loading, only Firefox (Router Issue)

Just installed a new router - a D-Link Dir-825

I am unable to load anything in Safari or Chrome, and Mail will not go online. Only Firefox works.

I've flushed my DNS cache in Terminal (I think...) but that didn't work. D-Link does not "support Safari" and refuses to help me.

I feel like I am overlooking a simple fix... can anyone help?

Reset your modem.

Everything has been reset. Multiple times.

My power cords are also firmly plugged into the outlet.

Anyone here have any actual help?

Check your proxy settings under Preferences -> Network. Click on "Advanced." Firefox doesn't use the system-wide proxy settings but Mail and Safari both do. Not sure about Chrome.
