Safari Missing Feature?!?

Is Safari missing the ability to scale down an image to fit the browser window?

I know Firefox and Camino have a little magnifying glass when the "http://<insert-site-here>.com/hi_res_image.jpg" image is too big for the window.

Safari doesn't do that. (Mail and Preview do, though.)
