is there anything for Safari that can stop amateur websites from using javascript to resize my browser window and add the status bar, something like NoScript for Firefox… so bloody annoying! im one of those Mac users who likes his browser window to always be the same and never resized.
 
yep thanks i use AdBlock.

it just pisses me off when these websites resize your broswer, for instance i was searching for desks in my hometown and one of the sites resized the window and added the status bar which i like to leave off.

status bars like the one from digg are so annoying. Pretty soon my entire screen is just going to be status bars.
 
yeah saw that it uses SIMBL which slows down Safari and is unstable as you said. cheers chaps.

miles i meant the status bar down the bottom of the Safari window, the digg bar is cool! 🙂

Oh. That's annoying; I like the status bar but if some javascript made it go away I'd be annoyed. But then again I use FF and NoScript so I doubt that will happen.
