Anyone else not able to scroll on certain websites in latest Tahoe/Safari?

I've been trying to get car insurance quotes these last few days and noticed the pages load but I cannot scroll at all. Not even using keyboard arrows?!

Not sure if I can post links but if you go to www.lv.com website and click on 'Start Car Insurance quote', you get a form to start a quote but you cannot scroll on the page. There's loads like this on LV website (I've informed them) and I've noticed other sites too since Tahoe dropped and only now realised there's a bit of a pattern. I can't remember the other sites as I just assumed they were having an off day at the time but it's clear there's a pattern of sites that don't allow scrolling since I've upgraded. I also recall this has been an issue in the past when Apple updates (breaks) MacOS. In the past it was Banks that had an issue if I recall. I can't remember if Apple had to fix something or the banks had to adjust their sites to suit Apples whims again. Probably the latter.

I tried to do it on iOS and the page says 'we are having issues with the site' so something weird is going on. LV tell me they are not aware of any issues but their website is saying the opposite. Very strange.

UPDATE: Also the back arrow doesn't work on these particular pages?!

Firefox works fine.

I've had issues with browsers and particular websites for years. If my main browser didn't work and another one did…well…that's the way it was on that day. I used the other one for that task and moved on with my life.

I will say that every time I try to switch to Safari something occurs that makes me return to Firefox. Many people prefer and use Safari daily, though.

It's a dynamic situation.

just connected to lv.com from macbook Air and iPP, both running the latest 26.x betas - no problem at all. The site works. Are you using any extensions - which?

I went to the website, and clicked the "start insurance quote" button.

It put me onto another page with veritcal scoll bars, but (as you mentioned) no horizontal scroll bars, even when I "down-sized" the window.

But if I made the window WIDER, I didn't have any problems seeing the information the page [seems to] want me to see.

I tried using the Brave browser as well.
The page behaves the same way -- doesn't offer horizontal scrolling.

Same behavior with WaterFox.

So I'm going to GUESS that this isn't a "Safari problem".
Rather, it's the way the website has been designed.

Im referring to vertical scroll not horizontal. If you click the 'Start Car Insurance quote' button specifically (as some pages work correctly) but this particular page and some others with forms don't scroll vertically. There is a whole other section under the form to start a quote. I can just about see a green banner with the words 'Don’t miss out, we’d love to keep you up to date' but can't scroll down to it.

No extensions at all. I never use them.

Just downloaded Safari Tech Preview and same problem!

Click the word I've circled to go to another page which shows the problem more clearly as its a longer page then the one with the form.

I've turned scroll bars on and they don't appear on this page?!

iOS 26.1, MacBook Air M4, standard Safari + Wipr2 extension with content blocking enabled.
Everything works fine for me, and when I click on "Car Insurance" I can scroll the resulting window which does have scroll bars.

Weird.

Still not working for me on MacOS, iOS or iPadOS?! Weird.

Like I said it also happened a few years ago with my Bank and it took months then all of a sudden it was working again. Don't know if the bank or Apple fixed it but I didn't change anything. This was all on an another Mac too. Im on a brand new M4 mini now and this problem is back. It was happening on a few but now its just the LV site so Im assuming its LV that need to update something because Apple changed something?!
