Safari *not* blocking site prompts for notifications even though it's unchecked.

I have un-checked the checkbox in Safari (latest version) for "Allow websites to ask for permissions to send notifications."

And yet, I get them on nearly every website.

What to I need to do to fix this?

I'm having the same issue and it's maddening. Feels like more and more sites are prompting but the checkbox does nothing.

Also since notifications are disabled in Safari, checking "allow" does nothing too.
