Hello!

Since a week or two, Safari loaded webpages very slowly, now sometimes not at all. The same account / connection, Chrome loads the same page almost instantaneously.

I'm on Tahoe, and this occurred first on 26.3, and now also on the 26.4 public beta 2. I tried the usual things (emptying chaches, website information, deactivated extensions, shift-started). The situation is the same on a new user account on the same system, and also on Safari Technology preview.

Any recommendations for what I can do?

Thanks!
Peter

Thanks! Indeed it seems to be related to iCould Private Relay - if I turn that off, webpages load quickly again. (Turning of only the Hide IP address in Safari didn't do much, unfortunately.)

I have to say I quite like the idea of Private Relay, so hopefully there will be a solution to that too. (Especially since, apparently, it only affects Safari on macOS, not other browsers, and likewise not Safari on iPadOS/iOS...)
