I have been having a password problem with my M1 Mac running Big Sur since I purchased it 6 months ago.
It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes Safari would suggest a password to use, and I go with the suggestion, but it doesn't save.
What happened just a few minutes ago, I had to reset my password for a website, which I did using Safari's suggested password, but when I attempted to log into the account, the password was not saved. This led me to having to reset my password again, then my account becoming locked due to security reasons.
This only happens on my M1 Mac, as it doesn't happen on my older Macs running High Sierra. The username and PW system just seems to work so much better on my older Macs than my M1 Mac.
Anyone else have this happen to them? Is there something I am doing wrong?
