Ever since the upgrade to leopard, Safari seems to tie up and show the pinwheel of death indefinitely. It only seems to happen when I have a large number of tabs open, but it didn't happen on Tiger.

Anyone else having safari problems?

That has been my exact experience on all versions of Safari 3, on both Mac Tiger and Windows XP (I don't have Leopard yet). Although it does have a few more features, it has been too unstable to use (and is still not up to FF 2.x) IMHO.

Odd. No problems here but I do have Leopard. Every day I open about 15 sites into tabs via a menu-bar folder. So they all try to open at once, there is a very slight hesitation at first, but then they all load.

This is on a 1.25Ghz G4 with 768 MB ram.

You may want to consider the possibility of it being a network issue.
