since iOS 11 my iPad Pro 10.5 acts differently when opening a link in a new tab in safari.
When holding the link it first assumes I want to drag the link. Then after a delay the pop up appears

Anyone else notice or have a fix?
I know we can drag to + but that takes just as long.

The fastest way to open in a new tab is to click the link with 2 fingers. You can also release it or make a second touch as soon as it goes into “drag mode” and the options pop up right away.

Great tip about releasing finger as soon as drag mode appears.

Personally dislike the two finger gesture and don’t understand the second touch option.

Still quicker the old way or on my iPhone

When the link goes to drag mode, touch the screen anywhere with another finger and the options pop up.
