Hello,

I still do not understand why Safari is asking permission to allow downloads
If you can always go to the Safari menu, select Preferences and then Downloads from the left-hand menu and
select "Allow" to all

I read it is because Google ad network

But if you want to download something, you are going to download!

Any other good reason about Safari permission for downloads?

For me is useless!

"For each of these, select Allow or Ask as desired. They will then be added to your Currently Configured Websites list"

Thanks

Camelia

I don’t get your point. It’s asking for permission not to try and block *you* from downloading something, but to block websites from downloading things without you knowing about it

It might be focused on multiple downloads? For example, I think if you access iCloud photos from the web, select like 100 photos and click download, it downloads them individually, so 100 different downloads. Sometimes if you go to download something from a questionable site, the site may start multiple downloads and give you something you don't want. I think the feature is just to make you aware of cases like that.
