Safari ports

    what ports does safari use? Can I use nmap to figure out the ports? I am trying to use throttled to restrict my download speeds.

    do you know what numbers the standard ports are?

    I *think* 80 is the number used for web browsing.

    80 for http
    443 for https

    Both 80 and 443 are TCP.
    UDP is a whole 'nother ball of wax.
