Safari problem with anything Google....

OK heres an odd one.

For some unknown reason my Safari won't show any google pages. If I use the google search bar I get the "safari can't open page" dialogue and if I try to surf to any google site by entering the web address I get the same message.

I haven't changed anything and all settings are standard. I'm using safari 4.0.3 on OS X 10.5.8
