I recently installed Adobe Creative Suite 3, which includes Acrobat 8.

Then at some point I tried to load a PDF doc ( from a link ) in Safari, and got a dialogue box asking if I wanted to use Acrobat 8 as the default for Safari - which I said yes to.

Now if I try to load a PDF doc in Safari - it loads but I then get a floating dialogue box saying there is a problem with Acrobat 8, and it can't run wthout another key CS3 program running first ( I assume something like Photoshop or Illustrator ) - I've tried doing this but it doesn't work.

Basically - what I wish to do is get Safari to go back to the way it was, which may involve telling it to use Acrobat 6, or Preview, to read PDF docs.

How can I do this?

cheers for the help.

In Adobe Reader| Preferences| Internet there is an option there, see if ticking/ unticking helps.
