I'm having the following problem with both a 27" late 2013 iMac and (to a lesser extent) a late 2013 13" MacBook Pro:-
Let's say I have a few tabs open in safari. I decided to overwrite a tab by clicking on a bookmark or something from the favourites bar. Most of the time this works fine but about 25% of the time (less on the MacBook) I get a beachball for a few seconds then the tab closes. Sometimes it happens time and time again. Earlier this evening I started with 6 open tabs. One by one, as I tried to open a new web page, the tabs closed themselves until there was nothing left at all and I had to restart Safari!
This never happens if I click on a link from within a website.
Any ideas much appreciated.
