Ok, I've searched here, Google, MRoogle, and APple support and can't seem to find any answers. Now, when I open Safari, it opens my tabs to the state/page/location they were in when I last closed it, and NOT as the default condition as found in my bookmarks bar. I just noticed this in the last couple of days, since dl Lion, so I'm not sure if it's a Lion issue or one related to the "new" Safari? Any ideas?

I've dug around in preferences and can't find anything amiss.:(

Disregard

I found the problem, it was in the general system preferences.. not in the Safari prefs. I had to uncheck the restore windows option. my bad
