Hello, I just bought a G4 single processor. Operating system 10.3.9. Now, I had recent problems with my mac, and ended up deleting things I should'nt have. So I "wiped out" my HD, but now for some reason, my Safari won't download any videos from sites. It doesn't even ask me to change the name if needed option that I used to have. Plus, sometimes it freezes. Now I tried deleting it, and re-installing... But as soon as I upgrade the Safari, it does the same thing.

I'ved tried checking my Safari Preferences but I dont have a specific window that would help me configure the problem. Anyone here has had the same problem?. 🙁

Okie, heres what I did, I had a smiliar problem, and called AppleCare, this is what I was told to do. You have a few options. Oh, and reboot after doing any of these.

Reset Safari - Small chance, but it may work.

Home > Library > Prefrences > com.apple.safari.plist
Delete it, Reboot. It will make a new one for you, don't worry.

Go to Home > Library, and rename you're Library Folder "x" without the " ".
This worked for me, because it creates a new library for you, but It doens't delete anything as far as I know, everything seems the same to me.
