After using Safari Reader in Safari 5 for a few days now I have come to love it.

My iPad arrives in a few days and I was wondering if iPad Safari has Reader or if its planned for next update?

It would be a killer feature if it aint already on it.

Currently it's not, I do like that new feature also. It's nice for reading longer Articles and as we all know the screen can be polluted with things that take away our attention (Ads, etc)

I don't know if it will make it into Mobile Safari any time soon. WWDC would have been a good time to introduce Safari Reader and Apple didn't, which to me means it's not coming to iOS.

I would be very surprised if it wasn't an addition in iOS4 for iPad later this year. As a feature it seems to be designed for the iPad. Cutting out distractions and pulling all parts of an article spread over multiple pages seems like a natural fit for the iPad.

I didn't realize it is doing this. That is pretty nice. I wonder how they are accomplishing that, and if it could be implemented into Instapaper easily.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)

"Reader" would he great in iPad's Safari. However, I'd just be happy if they would add the tabs open count (ala iPhone Safari) to the tabs icon on the iPad. I hate hitting the button and realizing I already have a bunch of tabs open.

Just my 2 cents
