Safari > Save as PDF > Save As window extends off screen

Action: Safari > Print > Save as PDF...
Problem: Resulting "Save As" window extends off bottom of screen, hiding New Folder, Cancel, and Save buttons

This only occurs in Safari (not Firefox or Chrome); happens in both regular and full screen mode. Anyone know the solution? I finally had to create a "Trash these" folder on my Desktop to dump stuff I'd normally cancel out of, if the button was available.

You might need to just Save to Desktop and then move the file to where you want it.

Would rather have it work correctly. Hopefully, someone out there knows the solution.

After you select the location you want to save to, close up the dialog by clicking the up arrow to the right of "Save as" at the very top. That should bring the buttons into view.

I appreciate the suggestion, but am still hoping for a solution that corrects this bug. Would prefer that it works as intended, without having to use addition/extra clicks to steer around the pothole.

UPDATE:
This also occurs in Preview (when saving a copy to another location, for example). Am running version 8.0.
