Safari, scrolling, typing, and the beachball

8.0.3 is killing me here. Every time I try to type something in a box, or simply scroll down a page Safari hangs and gives me the finger.

Is it a Safari problem or The Finder (Which also seems to lag)?

Is there a fix that I don't know about?

Any help would probably change my life (in a very small way).

Also, except Safari, any problem in other browser?

What's your hardware spec? Some graphic card's driver not working well in Yosemite with Safari.

it might be beta, I can't remember which build is which!

It's really only Safari that's suffering - other browsers, though not perfect, seem OK.

Webkit may be running a bit smoother, but haven't tested extensively. It can't be much worse.

It's an iMac 2013, 27, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB, 32GB, 3TB Fusion.
