I've been having this problem for a couple of days now. I'll just be doing basic web browsing with Safari on my MacBook Air and Safari will just unexpectedly close and then the error report comes up asking if I want to send it to Apple. Has anyone else been experiencing this problem?

I think it is a Safari issue. This has happened on my MacBook Pro and Air since Feb 2007. It is annoying especially if you are wanting a session saver like Firefox has. Safari Stand is good but it does not save your page history just the current page you were viewing.

Yup, tis a Safari issue. Damn annoying, too. Seems to have become much worse since 10.5.2. As far I can tell, it seems to die more frequently on javascript-heavy pages.

Look at the bright side, at least it's not a hardware issue specific to your machine. (And you could try out other browsers, too. :) <3 Camino.)

Like I said I would use Firefox because if it crashes it saves your page history. I do not know why Apple can't get Safari right in this regard. How hard would it be to add a new tab button and session saving. Thanks to Safari Stand at least we have it in some form.

Safari is a free program, so maybe Apple doesn't care. Firefox works pretty well for me and I haven't tried Camino (although I once owned an El Camino).

    Well said sir, well said.

Just use Firefox. I've tried for the longest time to like Safari but Firefox just works so much better for me.
