All iPads Safari split screen

After I have closed a split screen windows, how do I get it back onto the split screen?
this windows is still existing and visible if I hold the Safari icon and select “show all windows”, but no matter what I try I cannot get it back onto split screen.
is it even possible?

Put the app you want to split screen in the dock, open Safari, and drag the app you put in the dock onto the side of the screen.

Sorry I should have made clear that I am referring to two Safari windows.

If the 2 safari windows are still there when you do “show all windows”, open safari then drag safari icon from dock to half the screen for split screen, it will automatically fill it with the 2nd safari window you had.

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for.
I even tried with more than two windows open and it allows me to chose which one I want to place in the split screen.

all I know is that on note 10 + I can split screen every app and it is stupid easy to do hell I can even make groups of apps to launch at the same time , lol now I remember why I left the apple eco system . And wishing I had not bought this iPad .

So for everyone saying it is the app developer it is not its IOS . That is not up to date. Why would you be able to split screen the same apps on a Samsung device but not apple.

The second hand market is quite buoyant.
Other advantages of selling is that you will no longer feel the need to join an Apple forum specifically for telling everybody in your first 4 posts how you prefer your Note over the iPad.
However, if you decide to keep the iPad, I hope you will find more constructive ways to contribute to the forum.

fan boys , lol . I like my iPad I wouldn’t have got booth the 11 pro and 12.9 if I didn’t believe in them was just stating it’s not apps it’s apple read the post next time .Trust me there are things about my note 10 I dont like but that doesn’t mean there not there just pointing out it’s not the apps that don’t support it but iOS that doesn’t support it. Gosh sorry

the fact you can split screen some apps and also stack widows on top of those apps Is cool ,
you can’t do that on android os is awesome I know each have there strengths and weaknesses .

Did not plan on getting both , ordered the 11 I could not cancel in time , fedex signed for me , causing me to have to activate before sending back to xfinity mobile .I ordered the 12.9 a couple days after ordering the 11. Was going to not sign for the 12.9 and just keep the 11.Well fedex once again signed for the package so I had to activate the 12.9 ,so here I am with booth and after a couple of days I just decided to keep both .The 11 is my media throw around tablet, and the 12.9 has become my computer thats not a computer. I am learning a lot about this new os , one trick I have found out is that on the multi app bar is that if you put multiple apps in a file box then drag it to the multi apps you can open that file and drag all apps in it to multi pane .Making it possible to have more apps avaliable in the bar . Hope this helps. And in the future don't ever question the wabber Jacky you have been warned .?
