SAFARI -- Stop GIFs

I have a MacB ook Pro v13 w/Safari. I don't want to see the GIFs. For sure I want to stop them from being animated. Can you help me find the settings to turn them off?

The constant movement bothers my eyes. I need to get the GIFs to stop. Can I make a css style sheet that will do it? Download an extension of some kind? Please help. Thank you.

This will work on some sites:

Go to Preferences > Websites, and then Auto-Play.

At the bottom, where it says When visiting other websites, set it to Never Auto-Play.
