Hi All, my iPad 1 still has iOS 4 on it and nothing has changed. So why is Safari suddenly running slow? I mean REALLY slow. It may take up to 60 seconds to download a full web page. It varies; sometimes it's better, then it gets bad again. Any ideas? This has been happening for about the last 6 weeks.

Have you tried clearing out the cache, history, and cookies in the settings?

Or shutting off your modem and router for a few minutes, then turning them back on....assuming your issue is at your home only.

I plan to go to the Mac store today or tomorrow to see if it's any faster there, using the big fat wifi connection they have. Obviously if it speeds up then it is definitely my home wifi that is the problem. We'll see. Thanks for the responses so far.
