I have notice that Safari on my wife's windows xp laptop auto select the address field when I click to enter a website, but when I do the sme on my Safari on my mac it does not auto select the field.
How can I make my Mac Safari behave like the Safari on my wife's windows xp laptop?

I tried searching in the forums, but all my attempts did not bring what I really looking for.
Thanks for any suggestions or help.

As far as I know, there's no way to do it in Safari (you can do it in Firefox with about:config). You can sorta simulate the behavior with ⌘+L, which will select and highlight the address bar.

Thaks for your responce.
It is interesting to see that Safari XP version has that functionality while the OSX version does not, I will keep digging.
