Safari unable to connect to YouTube while Firefox can?!

    Hi,

    This problem started 3 days ago. I couldn't visit YouTube and Safari says "Safari can’t open the page “http://www.youtube.com/” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection, which sometimes occurs when the server is busy. You might be able to open the page later."

    But I can connect using Firefox with absolutely no problem. Since Safari is my primary browser I want to get this problem fixed. I have tried resetting Safari. It didn't work. I am currently running on a MacBook Pro (Early 2008).

    sometimes we are too privileged on our Macs that we often leave our rebooting habits in PC land… myself included.

    That is strange. Did you try reloading the page or even turn airport off and then on and see if that changes?
