for no reason at all. I've restarted it several times and rebooted too but still whenever I type anything in the URL bar it doesn't autocomplete for me. Also when I visit any site by clicking on a link the address in the URL bar doesn't change to whatever site I'm on. This just happened out of nowhere, I started up my computer today and all of a sudden safari decided to do this. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Try going into the user library and just removing the safari plist file.

It's in ~/Library/preferences/com.apple.safari.plist

Then relaunch safari that might fix it.
