I sometimes accidentally hit the close button in Safari and all my browser windows disappear. I remember in Snow Leopard, there was at least a warning when you had multiple tabs open. In Lion, there is no warning for anything!

Is there an extension or something that will confirm with me when I hit the close button or Command+Q?

Thanks!

not seen anything to bring this feature back

I think the reason for this is that you have the new resume feature, so if you accidentally close it, re open safari and you are back where you where

how would I re-enable this? I seem to have forgotten

System Preferences->General->restore windows when[...]

You can also manually invoke the function by selecting History->Reopen all windows from last session. Or if you accidentally close a single Safari window, go to History->"Reopen Last Closed Window" and the window will be restored with all of its tabs.

A single accidentally closed tab can be restored by selecting Edit->"Undo Close Tab"
