    How do I retrieve the website bar where you type in a web address? It has to be a very simple solution, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it back. Right now, there is no area to type in a website address. I can only access web pages by using my bookmarks.

    Thanks in advance for your helpful suggestion!

    View --> Show Toolbar

    Or, if the toolbar is there but you managed to drag the URL field off of it (by Command-dragging it), go to View --> Customize Toolbar and drag it back up there.

    Did you try clicking View and then Customize Toolbar?
