Please help - this is driving me insane!

Latest MacBook Pro / latest OS x / Latest Safari

Thus has been happening for about a month now.....when I open a page using safari.....a random web page will open along with the one i'd requested - this is a full blown web-page ( independent not a tab ). Its a full page, not a pop-up. It doesn't happen every time but about every third time.

The unwanted web page usually tells me I have a virus. They often look alike, but from different addresses - although all saying from MacKeeper

    I have tried:

    clearing the cache

    Clearing all history

    Nothing has worked!

How can I stop this please....many thanks

Yep, that's malware. Use some internet security software from a well known source.
