Running latest firmware on an iPhone 6 plus. Just wondering why Safari does not have interia scrolling, like navigating in other places like App Store, Music, etc...

I've switched to the Mercury browser and it has the inertia scrolling.

I know this sounds superfluous, but it's not when you think about how often you are scrolling through content.

wondering why Safari does not have interia scrolling,

Are you referring to when you scroll real fast and the page just keeps scrolling and eventually it stops?

If so it's strange Safari doesn't have that feature on the iPhone. It works in Safari on all my iPad's.

My iPhone 5 Safari has inertia, but it doesn't free scroll for very long. Just half a page or so.

I have the same problem with my 6 Plus.

It never gains momentum, no matter how hard I scroll.

Update:
Just checked my iPad 4 w/ iOS 8.3

Safari works great and has inertia scrolling.

It's been like this since the original iPhone. Perhaps it's because webpages are usually more information dense and not suited to fast scrolling.
