A couple times I tried to load up a page in Safari on Wi-fi and it like goes gray and says "connecting" with the spinning cursor. It doesn't ever do anything. If I switch to 3G, it works fine. Mail and other network connected apps work fine with Safari is hanging. If I reboot, it works.

Anyone see this? Is there a way to hard reset Safari?

This is a 3GS

I had that exact same experience, and couldn't figure out a way to force quit Safari either. Like you, I had to reboot the whole phone, and that did the trick. I'm glad to hear someone else saw the same behavior...
